Available accommodation dictated that rather than follow the NW bank of Loch Ness, we headed into the hills on the SE side and followed the excellently marked and maintained South Loch Ness Trail. We left at 8.00.
This took us high into the hills and to some of the best views of the whole 67 days so far.

We had every kind of weather - cold wind, rain, sunshine, sleet, rainbows more than once - snow visible in the distance.

We covered 11.08 miles, including a LOT of ups and downs arriving at our quirky and very welcoming hotel in time for some lunch.
Slightly anxious as my bag did not appear until late afternoon.
A slightly longer day today would have been better as tomorrow is rather long, but you can only stop where there is somewhere to stay. Both the walk and the hotel today are near the top of the trip rankings.
1032.28 miles done. In a fortnight I will be on my way home. Sponsorship creeping towards £20,000
