A rest day is a rather odd thing. I do not have rest days at home, and if on holiday I am usually walking. However, the hospitality here is great and I was able to potter with maps for the next few days – finding ways of making the routes shorter – do thankyous and accounts, and chat to both Mission Control Guildford and Auxiliary Mission Support Easthorpe.
Proper Cornish Pasty for lunch.
Sara also took me round Fowey and Lostwithiel.
Put ice on my left knee which has been complaining slightly since before I set out.
I am also delighted that so far in 8 days I have had only one email and one phone call relating to ‘real life’ that have needed a reply.
Still have watched no TV since I left Southwell. This is certainly a record.
Am having serious trouble getting rid of the feeling that this is Saturday!
